Ka Nom Sam Pan Nee


            Ka Nom Sam Pan Nee (ขนมสัมปันนี) is a Thai traditional dessert which appeared in the reign of King Narai the Great or Somdet Phra Narai Maharat. According to the historical record, Madam Marie Gimard was the first invented of this dessert. It made from roasted tapioca flour, mix with coconut milk and sugar. When we eat it, it will melt in your mouth with the scent from Thai scented candle.

            In 100th Sai Suddha Nobhadol Building Anniversary Exhibition, the Office of Art and Culture demonstrated how to make Ka Nom Sam Pan Nee to visitors. This exhibition was held on 28th – 30th June 2019. For those who would like to taste Thai traditional dessert which is quite hard to find in nowadays and also visit the exhibition.
