At the beginning, ladies of the court still resided in their same royal residences. Until H.H. Princess SaisavaliBhiromya moved to reside in Suan Sunandha in 1919, a number of ladies moved after her.

At that time Suan Sunandha became the large royal court of the royal ladies, consisting of the consort, daughters, the royal mother, and the concubine of King Rama V. Each royal residence was filled with several activities and works.
